Hippocratic Oath

Remember when Hippocrates said “Above all, do no harm”?

Yeah, except that is not what the Hippocratic Oath says.

Isn’t that one hell of a low bar, anyway? Don’t hurt or kill anybody?

If I thought that was my over-arching, primary goal when I got up in the morning, I would not get up.

Seriously, Hippocrates was a man of much more noblesse oblige and higher standards than that.
